8:34 am
City Centre Bus
I choose a seat based on whether I think I will turn out to be in the shade or thoroughly destroyed by the sunlight. I choose wrong and slowly heat up. Refusing to move to the shaded seat because I am now in my seat and thus cannot move. A girl changes seat the moment the light hits her arm and I envy her as if such choices are beyond me entirely.
I exit the bus as a piece of sunlight and, part of the weather now, I walk to my office.
